How does a small manufacture manage to have so many garments in so many color schemes and sizes?
CurvyShion is a small and recently created business. We started in 2021 making a first very small summer collection of 5 garments. After some internal discussions we decided to change our way of operation completely and to produce not only fix color schemes for our garments but to give our customers the option to purchase the combination of colors they want. Therefore, we always have an image with the available colors for a certain garment on the end of each product presentation. We can make the garment in any combination of the mentioned colors. Of course, we mention some combinations that we think fits best but we are open to any customer inquiry.
We decided to make of the weakness of a small business an advantage. As we cannot afford to make dozens of different color scheme variations of any garment in any size, such as the big fashion brands do. We decided to use the flexibility of a small business to solve this issue. So, we usually produce only one to maximum three, color variations of any garment and show the customers the color table available. We eighter have all colors in stock or we know from our supplier that they can provide us within a few days with more fabric of these colors. The success of the Spring/Summer collection 2022 and the fact that customers have very well accepted this way of operation shows us that we were right with this decision. Currently we have almost 1,500 SKUs available, this would be impossible for a small business like us if we would operate the classical way, producing and stocking all SKUs. You have to remember that a certain dress in size XL red, is another SKU than the same dress in the same color but in 2XL etc.
So, we decided to continue working this way in the future. And as always, we are open to any customer request, which we try to attend the best way possible.
Please find below an image of the currently available colors for all garments in Spring/Summer 2022, all these fabrics are 95% Viscose and 5% Elastane. We like this flexible fabric because it is ideal for any Plus Size garment.
